How can I Become a Medical Marijuana Patient in Arkansas?

For years cannabis (marijuana) has been used to treat a number of medical conditions. In the state of Arkansas, it is now legal to use Medical Marijuana if you have one of the qualifying medical conditions. Below is what you need to know if you have one of the medical conditions and would like to try medical marijuana. 1. If you have one of the state approved medical conditions you will need a physician who is certified with the state of Arkansas to verify your condition by filling out a physician written certification form that is provided by the state of Arkansas. (Note: many physicians are unable to complete these certifications on a regular office visit since some forms of insurance are federally run programs and many insurance carriers are based out of the state of Arkansas.) 2. Schedule an appointment with our clinic or another clinic specializing in medical marijuana certifications and remember to bring a copy of your medical records listing your diagnosis. 3. Mail your application (Available here), the physician certification and the required $50 application fee to the address on your application. 4. The state of Arkansas will send you a letter once you are approved. 5. Medical Marijuana Cards will be mailed to you by the state by one month before dispensaries open. If you have been diagnosed with this condition and are interested in trying medical marijuana, call us at 501.282.4341 for your certification.
